How It Works
When you visit the Ruby Red Flower Shop, the experience begins with a simple conversation. I will ask what kind of flower you are looking for and who the bouquet is meant for—whether it is a romantic gift, a token of friendship, or something special for someone you cherish.Based on your answers, I will guide you downstairs where a selection of possible flowers will be displayed for you to view. You are welcome to take your time exploring the blooms, asking questions about their meanings, colors, and symbolism as we find the arrangement that feels just right.Once you have chosen the flowers you love, you may purchase them directly from the shop. Prices are based on the Aether Marketboard, ensuring fair and consistent pricing for all patrons.Roleplay is always welcome and can be enjoyed at any level, from simple conversation to deeper storytelling. About Me
Ghostfluff Gladys hails from Ul’dah, where her parents were established goldsmiths operating a modest shop along Sapphire Avenue. Adjacent to their business stood a flower shop filled with a diverse array of blooms, which left a lasting impression on her from an early age. She developed a deep appreciation for the beauty of flowers and the meaningful role they play in people’s lives.Under the guidance of the shopkeeper, Rishin, she assisted in daily operations, helping patrons select flowers for a variety of occasions—from heartfelt gifts to quiet gestures of affection. Through this experience, she found fulfillment in contributing to moments that carried emotional significance, recognizing the impact such small acts could have on others.Following the Dragonsong War, news reached Ul’dah that the Holy See of Ishgard was restoring its residential district, the Empyreum. Believing that the city would benefit from the presence of a flower shop to help foster warmth and connection after a period of hardship, she made the decision to relocate. With determination, she departed Ul’dah and journeyed to Ishgard to pursue this vision.Using the savings she had accumulated during her time as Rishin’s assistant, Ghostfluff Gladys acquired a modest plot of land in the Empyreum and established her own flower shop. Since its founding, the shop has served as a space where patrons can select thoughtful gifts and create meaningful experiences, continuing her commitment to bringing quiet joy and connection to the community.
